Talking about inspiration. I HAVE GURDY! Belive it or not Jay Andriot the original author of the enlightening Zuga.net thread on basic portrait lighting has sent me "Gurdy"! Thank you Jay from the bottom of my heart. I will dedicate this summer to learn the basic portrait light patterns on Gurdy, and I will post my progress here, all possible because of Jay.  Hopefully those who are interested in the topic will learn together with me and will find it useful.
